Title: Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Manager β UK Salary: Β£40,000 β Β£45,000 + Β£7,000 car allowance + Performance bonus up to 9% base salary per annum (paid bi-annually), and comprehensive benefits package including healthcare plan, life insurance, 25 days holiday. About the role Our client, a well-established speciality food company within the premium market, is seeking a Shopper Marketing Manager to join their Mainstream Commercial Team to drive the implementation of shopper marketing strategies across both traditional retail and digital channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the Shopper Marketing strategy for both bricks & mortar and retailer online across the Multiples, Convenience, Discounter and Online channels (omni-channel). In addition to this the successful candidate will have an account manager role looking after our E-commerce customers with potential development into new areas. The role will encompass: support further development of Shopper and E-commerce focus within the business. Increased engagement with the trade. Market leading Shopper campaigns. Develop insights via research, campaign analysis, industry reports & network and turn these into actions / campaigns that will deliver learnings and / or return on investment. Management of online retailers The role involves working in a fast-paced everchanging environment, requires a pro-active & creative approach and deliver against specific timescales. Responsibilities Develop and implement Shopper Marketing to include (url removed) initiatives / tactics across the Multiple, Discounter, Convenience & Online channels: To align with the Category vision, Brand strategy and individual retailer/channel objectives. To be market leading with the aim of driving shopper acquisition, retention of shoppers and turn them into brand loyalists. To be delivered through a shopper lens, creative & out-of-the box thinking to clearly differentiate our client from competitors and for our client to be seen as a shopper though-leader. Understand the Shopper including .com path to purchase with the aim to maximize influencing and converting shoppers at key / most relevant touchpoints. Support with the development of best in class Online & Mobile optimisation (brilliant basics): Responsible for understanding platform guidelines at retailer / channel level. Responsible for implementation (Brandbank / self-serve) and maintenance tracking dashboards. Analyse all Shopper and .com campaigns with the aim of gathering insights and learnings for future campaign planning. Share campaigns, learnings and performance at retailer level with relevant Account Manager to leverage with customers. Build strong relationships with retailer media contacts. Pro-actively identify and implement cross-category collaborations. Budget management process and tracker. In this cross functional role it will be essential to build strong and collaborative relationships across the wider business with focus on cross-sector. Work closely with Third party agencies / 3rd party suppliers to support the development of shopper focussed campaigns, creative & message and hold them accountable for success. Including campaign, creative and content development > briefs, ideation, liaise with the Marketing for input and final sign-off. Industry and competitor campaign / activation tracking. Build external network with the aim of bringing learnings and insights into the business. Manage Retail accounts as assigned to pro-actively grow the core business. Skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines. Strong analytical skills. Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets. Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure. Creative thinking. Pro-active approach. Agility and flexibility. Qualifications and Experience Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification. 2-4 years Shopper Marketing / Brand Management, (url removed) and / or Digital experience across Multiples / Convenience / Discounter / ROI / Online channels. Understands shopper, consumer and customer landscapes and the ability to engage and lead with customers. Proven track record demonstrating genuine interest in the retail environment, understanding customer strategy and the ability to develop & deliver a compelling & engaging story. Be highly organised and driven with an ability to manage multiple tasks / projects & a diverse workload, be pro-active, action orientated and be able to use initiative.
