The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role will support quality assurance and quality control activities by inspecting products, testing materials, identifying defects, and helping implement corrective actions.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site.
- Management of Product verification paperwork: Own the creation of FAIRs, PPAPs, Attribute sheets, Inspection Plans, support wider quality with FMEAs and APQP projects.
- MRB Management: Manage the daily Material Review Board (MRB) meeting, assisting with the dispositioning of MRRs and tracking the time taken to action dispositions in all areas.
- Internal Auditing: Carry out internal QMS audits, 5s audits, quality Genba walks, identifying non-conformities and supporting the implementation of corrective actions. (Full training provided.)
- Attend Tier 1 & 2 meetings as the Quality representative, escalating risks and support needed.
- Facilitate Quality Projects: Work with the team on identifying and supporting the implementation of quality projects to streamline the business and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Facilitate the creation of MRB / QRB data reporting, improvements and cost savings as and when required.
