Platform Recruitment has partnered with a specialist product development company that designs and manufactures precision electroâmechanical instruments and is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead new product development and product improvement projects. You will work across concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, testing and preparing products for manufacture, collaborating closely with engineers, suppliers and technical partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop products from earlyâstage concepts to production.
- Lead all NPD.
- Produce 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings.
- Plan and run experiments, analyse data and report findings.
- Integrate mechanical and electronic components.
- Prepare documentation including BOMs, production packs and test procedures.
- Project management.

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
