The Role

  • You will own and grow a defined portfolio of automotive OEM and Tier 1/2 accounts, while driving new business across the automotive and EV sector.
  • You are expected to operate independently, manage complex stakeholders, and materially impact revenue and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and expand a UK-wide portfolio of automotive OEM and Tier 1/2 accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business within automotive and EV markets.
  • Execute structured account and territory plans aligned to revenue targets.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract close.
  • Act as a technical advisor on engineered sealing solutions and materials.
  • Support customers through design-in, validation, testing, and ramp-up.
  • Deliver technical presentations to engineering and procurement teams.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback.
  • Feed structured insight into product development and portfolio planning.
  • Maintain accurate CRM, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.

Ideal Background

  • Proven technical sales experience within automotive or engineered products.
  • Strong exposure to specification-led sales with long decision cycles.

Requirements

  • HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
