About the role
Our Care Team provide support to ourresidents, by assisting with
- Providingpersonal care and needs of the residents in a way that promotesindependence
- To make beds, tidy rooms and perform any light cleaning duties asrequired
- The provision of the highest standards of care of the residents and to maintain the Care Standards.
- Input daily records in the computerised care plans for a given number of the residents.
- To seek medical advice as appropriate for the residents
- To administer medication as prescribed.
- To ensure implementation of all Policies and Procedures throughout the home.
- To assist with the proper accounting of all petty cash and resident's monies.
- To attend all meetings and training as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a care environment is essential
- Experience working with people living with Dementia preferred but not essential
- Up to date mandatory training
- First Aid Course or willing to learn
- Knowledge of elderly health related issues
