Folk at PURPLE is on the hunt for a sharp, creative and culture‑savvy Social Media Account Manager to join our growing digital team in London. You’ll lead the day‑to‑day management of key client accounts primarily across luxury hospitality, with additional work in the fashion and beauty space. You’ll be confident translating strategies into monthly content calendars, managing multiple accounts simultaneously, and understanding the nuances of each brand’s tone of voice. You’ll be a strong copywriter with an eye for aesthetics, emerging trends and best‑in‑class social content. You should be as comfortable generating ideas as you are executing them, from briefing creatives to posting, reporting and optimising performance. This is a hands‑on, ideas‑first role for someone who lives and breathes social, understands what’s trending, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as a key day‑to‑day contact for social clients, building strong relationships and delivering standout work
- Support your Director on account direction and strategic development
- Confidently contribute to and lead conversations around social strategy
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts and pitch creative solutions
- Stay plugged into the latest trends, platform shifts and cultural moments – and bring them into our work
- Own and execute content calendars, campaign timelines and client deliverables
- Oversee influencer strategy and relationships (if applicable), from briefing to results
- Support creative ideation and lead the production of social‑first content
- Track and report performance with insights, learnings and optimisations
- Lead community management across client channel
- Manage Social Media Executives, supporting their growth and output
- Oversee internal processes to keep campaigns on brief, on time and on brand
- Collaborate closely with PR, events and brand teams to bring integrated strategies to life
- Support new business efforts and pitch development
- Lead social planning and content creation for PURPLE’s own platforms
- Ensure our digital presence reflects the agency’s tone of voice, positioning and priorities
- Capture behind‑the‑scenes moments and live event coverage for our channels
- Liaise with internal teams to keep the PURPLE site updated
- Content creation & capture; including live event coverage & Instagram stories
Qualifications
- Have 3+ years in a social/digital role, ideally agency side
- Are obsessed with internet culture and always two steps ahead of what’s next
- Are confident creating and executing content across Instagram, TikTok and beyond
- Are a natural communicator with a flair for copy and visual storytelling
- Can juggle multiple projects with calm, clarity and precision
- Know your way around tools like Later, Sprout, Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Bonus points if you know your way around Adobe Creative Suite
