Job Description Reporting into the CEO, the role will partner closely with the business leads; supporting the business to ensure our People strategy is communicated and aligned to the business strategy both in the UK, US and APAC. The Senior People Partner will ensure they have a strong understanding of the needs of the business; working closely across the People team and the business. This role is a great opportunity for a Senior HRBP working towards their goal of being Head of People within a global organisation. Responsibilities Ensure regular contact with business leads – take the time to build trust and understand challenges, providing a sounding board and coaching as necessary Work with the People Team to proactively provide data to the business –, talent and people data (turnover etc). Use this data to drive initiatives and engagement Support the business in all structural changes, in line with business needs Oversee the headcount process for the business area In addition to the above, partner with the Talent Team to understand the talent market, and help the business to make informed hiring decisions Remain commercially astute and have a strong understanding of the business area. Attend team meetings, business updates, external events etc Ensure L&D training is relevant. Provide feedback and insights on any upcoming requirements from the business areas Support the business area on annual Global People Initiatives – ie pay review, career conversations With the support of the People team provide full support and advice to the business around performance and conduct, ensuring action taken is in line with our policies and decisions are legally sound Actively stay abreast of trends and developments in HR and employment law To be an ambassador of PURPLE and its values. Experience Previous HRBP experience 7+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a HRBP role, in an agency environment with experience working across international offices is desirable Experience dealing with payroll and benefits Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction Adept at building strong, influencing and trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels A clear communicator, in person and writing Highly organised and flexible Comprehensive generalist understanding of all HR functions, legislation and best practices As well as being highly collaborative, is able to work well under own direction, delivering effect solutions in sometimes ambiguous and time sensitive situations Demonstrates emotional intelligence and empathy Confidence and gravitas to promote HR best practice
