PURPLE is seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to support the delivery of integrated PR campaigns across media, influencer, social and events within our growing Beauty & Wellbeing division. This role is ideal for someone with strong media relationships, a strategic mindset and hands-on experience delivering standout PR campaigns in a fast-paced agency environment.

As Account Manager, you will support Account Directors while taking ownership of day-to-day client relationships and campaign delivery. You will play a key role in generating coverage, managing media and influencer relationships, delivering events, and ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard—on brief, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key day-to-day client contact, managing expectations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support the development and execution of integrated PR strategies across earned media, influencer, social and events.
  • Generate high-quality coverage across print, digital, broadcast and social platforms.
  • Own media relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key journalists and influencers.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of press events, launches, trips and press days (small to large scale).
  • Work closely with social and digital teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and amplified.
  • Spot cultural, media and influencer opportunities that benefit both clients and PURPLE.
  • Monitor coverage, brand placement and reporting to ensure all activity is on-brand and impactful.
  • Contribute to new business activity, including proposals and pitch participation.
  • Line manage and support junior team members, helping them meet targets and develop their skills.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and expert across Beauty & Wellbeing.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in PR (agency or relevant in-house role; adjacent industries considered).
  • Strong understanding of the UK media landscape and established press and influencer contacts.
  • Proven experience delivering integrated PR campaigns across media, influencer and events.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-handling skills and sound judgement.
  • Ability to identify and maximise communication opportunities across multiple platforms.
  • Comfortable working with media and social monitoring tools and Microsoft Office.
