We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development. The Nursery Manager will play a crucial role in communicating with parents and staff to maintain high standards of care and education., * Lead and manage the nursery team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members.

  • Develop and implement educational programmes that align with early childhood education standards.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for children.

  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.

  • Monitor children’s progress and development, providing support as needed to enhance their learning experiences.

  • Organise training sessions for staff to promote professional development in childcare practices.

  • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery’s reputation within the community.

You may be someone that is an experienced Deputy manager that wants to take the next step, or you may be an experienced Nursery Manager that wants a new challenge. Either way, you will be part of a newly established nursery, looking to make a mark on the early years world!, * Proven leadership experience in a childcare setting or nursery environment.

  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

  • A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children’s growth and development.

  • Must have a relevant level 3 qualification.

  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
