Purple Rocket Recruitment is working with Voices for Children Limited who is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of their children's residential homes, supporting young people aged 6-18 who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse.

The Role
As a Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You will lead and inspire a committed staff team, creating a positive, stable environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring flexibility, dedication, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities for Registered Manager
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing care team
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements
- Oversee safeguarding practices and promote a safe, nurturing environment
- Manage care planning to meet each child's individual needs
- Maintain strong partnerships with external professionals and agencies

About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader with a strong background in residential childcare. You bring a child-centred approach, resilience, and the ability to inspire others. You will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in children's residential care, including leadership or deputy management
- A relevant Level 3/4 qualification in Children's Residential Care/Children and Young People's Workforce
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to achieve within 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted standards, and children's legislation
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
