A lovely secondary school in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an experienced MFL Teacher / Head of Modern Foreign Languages to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced MFL teacher ready to step into a leadership role or an established Head of MFL looking for their next challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality language teaching while supporting the development and direction of the MFL department.
The Role:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Leading and developing the MFL department (for Head of MFL applicants)
- Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
- Supporting students to develop confidence and fluency in languages
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Leadership experience or the ambition to step into a leadership role
- A passion for language learning and cultural education
