A secondary school in Tewkesbury is looking to appoint a creative Drama & Dance Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, starting April 2026. Role Overview
- Deliver engaging Drama and Dance lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience beneficial)
- Plan and teach lessons that nurture creativity, confidence, and performance skills
- Develop and lead school productions, performances, and extra-curricular opportunities
- Monitor student progress and use assessment to support learning and improvement
- Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts team to enrich the curriculum and inspire students
Candidate Profile
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Drama and/or Dance at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate students of all abilities and foster a love of performing arts
- Creative, enthusiastic, and a supportive team player who contributes positively to school life
