An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join this highly successful and reputable waste management company with a nationwide presence. This presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving industry and for a company that has grown organically in a measured and dynamic way over several years to be one of the market leaders in their field with an enviable reputation for customer satisfaction and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of up to 8 new business field sales executives covering the Nottingham/Leicester/Derby territory and surrounding areas.
- Deal with KPIs and strategies to bring the best out of the team as well as recruitment and day to day reactive management while adhering to Waste Management legislation and Health & Safety regulations.
- Constantly monitor and oversee entry into new market sectors and develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Group Head of Sales and Marketing to provide data and feedback on the performance of the region, market analysis and team performance KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Have proven team sales management (preferably new business field sales teams) and leadership experience.
- Have a hands-on approach and used to working in a very dynamic and busy industry.
- Experience in Waste Management is desirable although not essential.
- Be based in the East Midlands region or close to.
Compensation:
Salary of £45,000-50,000 p.a. plus monthly and quarterly performance based commission and company car.
