Multi-Skilled Engineer

Due to our continued growth and success, our client based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate has multiple opportunities for multi-skilled shift engineers available. Responsibilities As a Shift Engineer, you will contribute to our success through your core tasks, including but not limited to: Ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors at our manufacturing facilities. Delivering proactive, planned preventative maintenance to meet capacity and efficiency targets. Providing reactive maintenance to minimize machine downtime. Implementing engineering changes and continuous improvement projects to maximize efficiency and energy use. Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our production facilities. Building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Pursuing continuous professional development through industry-specific training. Ensuring audit readiness in collaboration with the technical team. Working alongside the projects engineering team. Skills, Qualifications, and Attributes Essential Experience in a similar engineering role. Qualified electrically or mechanically (or time-served) with multi-skilled capabilities. Proven success-oriented mindset. Enthusiasm for learning new machinery and engaging with manufacturers. Excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Desirable Experience in a food manufacturing environment. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of just under £50,000 per annum, plus benefits including pension contributions (minimum 10%), Death in Service (4x salary), 21 shifts holiday entitlement, Aviva Private Healthcare, and more.
