We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds/Garden Maintenance Operative to strengthen our existing team. The role involves delivering horticultural duties across sites in Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross and Cheshunt.

The successful candidate must hold a full manual driving licence as you will be required to drive a company vehicle to various sites in the contracted areas. PA1 and PA6 certifications are desirable but not essential (or equivalent qualifications).

Your duties will include:

  • Working across sites to deliver a range of Grounds Maintenance duties, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Operating horticultural machinery, i.e. strimmers, mowers etc.
  • Taking part in training as and when required

Key Skills & Qualities needed:

  • Previous experience of working as a Grounds Maintenance Operative or Landscape Gardener
  • A highly motivated individual with excellent Grounds Maintenance skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with the public, and other members of staff
  • Punctual, hard-working and able to use their own initiative
