The company: Our client is a well-established Construction and Building Solutions Contractor offering services including Building Refurbishments, planned and cyclical repairs and maintenance, regeneration and fire safety compliance mainly for clients across Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Social Housing providers and Public Buildings. Turnover sits at around £14m per annum now with contracts worth anything from a few hundred £thousands up to around £2m - £5m frameworks. The culture is described as friendly and down to earth with a family feel and an emphasis on teamwork. The office is a nice environment with a calm atmosphere and free on site parking facilities.
Working closely with Bid Manager and alongside another Bid Writer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Completing bid applications; mainly for Local Authority/ Housing Associations/Social Housing and Public Buildings
- Completing PQQ questionnaires
- Working with the existing friendly Bid Team
Ability to work alone or as part of the team. Must be computer literate, have excellent written skills and be competent at putting bids together. Must have a passion for construction with the ability to hit the ground running.
