A lady in her sixties living in the Wilford area of Ware (SG12) is seeking a kind, reliable Female Carer with a good sense of humour. She experiences back problems, uses walking sticks, and has some memory difficulties. She enjoys crosswords, art, and appreciates friendly, engaging company.
The successful applicant must have their own car, as the role includes taking the client to appointments such as shopping trips, GP visits, and hospital appointments. Experience in the care sector would be an advantage.
Hours and rate of pay: 15 hours per week, worked over Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (£16.52 an hour)
Location: Ware (SG12)
DBS / Checks: Confirmation of DBS check. Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training:
- Safeguarding Adults
- Introduction to first aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would be doing…
- Assistance with bathing and dressing
- Supporting with medication (making up and reordering)
- Household tasks including laundry and cleaning
- Shopping and help with paying household bills
- Providing structured and supportive companionship
