About the Direct Payment Holder
Support for an easy going 19 year old who has a great sense of humour and is a pleasure to be around. Z has a severe learning disability, genetic epilepsy (medication resistant) although daytime seizures are rare. Z also has hypermobility affecting his joints, he wears leg splints and can walk short distances though does tire easily. Z loves college, in particular the bus ride there and back, has lots of friends and gets on well with his tutors. Z enjoys puzzles & books and being in the garden; his pets (a dog and a cat) are very important to him.
Hours and Rate of Pay
- Hours: 5 - 16 hours per week
- Short days would be 2.5 hours from 4.30pm.
- Short hours (after return from college) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, longer hours on Thursday
- Rate of pay: £15 per hour
Location: Stretham
