A young, friendly man is looking for a fun, kind, and caring Personal Assistant (PA) to support him in daily life. He enjoys music, making people laugh, short walks to the local park and shops, and playing board games. He has cerebral palsy and learning difficulties and would like someone sociable and supportive to help him live as independently as possible.

Hours and rate of pay:

  • 30–40 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 09:30
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 15:00 – 21:00
  • Some flexibility may be required

Location: Stevenage (SG1)

Training:

  • Training will be offered to enable completion of the mandatory training required:
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Health and Safety / Moving and handling

What you would be doing…

The PA will assist with morning and evening routines, personal care, and preparing simple evening meals. The role also includes spending time together doing enjoyable activities such as listening to music, chatting, going for short walks, or playing games. No previous experience or training is required — just a friendly, patient approach and a genuine desire to help others.
