About the service user

F is an 8 year old boy who has a diagnosis of Autism, Sleep Disorder & Developmental delay. He is non-verbal and experiences Absence Seizures. F likes to be outside, visiting the park and bouncing at Bounce Fields; he is also happy playing at home.

Hours and pay

Flexible hours to be used in school holidays - 88.5 hours in total paid at £12.71 per hour. Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.

What you would be doing

  • Supporting F with independence skills accessing activities he enjoys such as going to the park.
  • Supporting F's mum when in the community with F.
  • Learning the triggers for F's challenging behaviours and coping mechanisms to deal with different situations.
