Female Personal Assistant required – Ely (CB6) – PUR-714-560
Early 50’s female with physical disabilities. Likes to be as independent as possible, in reality this can vary on a day to day basis.
Hours and Rate of Pay:
18 hours over 5 week days. May be additional hours when husband is away on business.
Rate of Pay:
Can be discussed at interview: £12.71+
Person Specification:
- Help with personal care as well as day to day running of family life.
- Assistance with practical aspects of daily living.
- Assist/attend medical appointments.
- Be willing to prepare food & meals.
- Should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator.
- Possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
- Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy. Have common sense and be able to use their initiative.
- Flexible
- Clean full driving licence essential (25+ for insurance purposes)
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Be cheerful with a good sense of humour.
Role responsibilities:
- Support with personal care in a dignified manner, meal preparation and cooking.
- Help with medication.
- Support with everyday chores, laundry, maintaining the domestic environment to the required standard.
- Support with social outings and medical appointments.
- Establish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis.
- Undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope responsibility of the job.
Needs may vary on a daily basis therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter slightly.
