Purple Dinosaur is looking for a Digital Web & Content Executive to join our growing creative team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the detail behind great digital work. You’ll help turn ideas, designs, copy, campaigns and creative into polished live experiences across websites, ecommerce platforms and digital campaigns. You do not need to be a full developer or designer. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, technically curious, and confident working across modern digital platforms, with an interest in how AI can support smarter workflows, content production, research, and digital operations as the industry evolves.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and populating website pages
  • Uploading and formatting content in CMS platforms
  • Supporting website launches and updates
  • Creating landing pages from supplied designs
  • Managing blog posts, news articles and case studies
  • Formatting content for SEO best practice
  • Updating menus, navigation and redirects
  • Uploading and managing products in Shopify
  • Resizing and preparing images for the web
  • Embedding video and external content
  • Carrying out QA checks across desktop and mobile
  • Supporting campaign setup across websites and landing pages
  • Implementing and maintaining website tracking, including Google Tag Manager, GA4 events, Meta Pixels, LinkedIn Insight Tags and conversion tracking
  • Setting up form tracking, lead tracking and campaign attribution
  • Supporting troubleshooting of analytics, tracking and reporting issues
  • Assisting with email template updates and digital assets
  • Using AI tools to help improve efficiency, research, content workflows and production processes
  • Helping keep websites organised, accurate and up to date

Skills we’re looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written communication
  • Comfortable learning digital systems quickly
  • Basic HTML and CSS understanding
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Umbraco, Wix, Squarespace or HubSpot
  • Understanding of responsive websites
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
  • Understanding of website tracking, event tracking and conversion measurement
  • Ability to implement and test marketing tags and pixels
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving creative environment
  • Interest in AI tools and how they can support digital delivery and creative workflows

Bonus skills:

  • Shopify experience
  • Umbraco experience
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge
  • Experience implementing Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google Ads conversion tracking
  • Experience with Looker Studio reporting
  • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva or Figma experience
