An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-established branch clinic in Worthing, part of a proudly independent veterinary group known for high clinical standards and a supportive, collaborative culture. The Role
You will work as a GP Veterinary Surgeon in a busy branch practice, delivering high-quality, personalised care to a loyal client base. You will be supported by a wider network of hospitals, out-of-hours services and an in-house referral team, ensuring continuity of care for patients and access to advanced clinical support when required. The practice environment has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming, “home-from-home” feel for both clients and team members.
The Ideal Candidate
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ practical experience in small animal general practice
- Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to ongoing clinical development
- A strong team player who demonstrates humility, empathy, professionalism and excellent communication skills
Applications are welcomed from vets with a general practice focus, including those interested in further skill development or certification.
Working Pattern
- 4-day working week
- 10-hour shifts (between 7:30am–7:30pm)
- 40 hours per week
- 1-hour lunch break
- 1 in 6 weekends and bank holidays (equal rota)
- Two days off in lieu following worked weekends
Salary
£45,000 – £65,000+ per annum, depending on experience, certificates and Advanced Practitioner status.
