A highly respected, independent small animal practice in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their large, supportive clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys managing a varied and often complex caseload in a well-equipped environment with genuine clinical freedom and outstanding professional development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a small animal vet with solid GP experience who is keen to develop their clinical skills further. You will join a 14-vet team supported by experienced RVNs, SVNs and a strong reception and administrative team.

The practice offers a diverse caseload with the facilities and expertise to manage complex medical and surgical cases in-house, including orthopaedics, BOAS, endoscopy and advanced imaging. Senior vets and certificate holders are always available for support, mentoring and case discussion. This position would suit a vet with a particular interest in surgery, medicine or diagnostics, although all clinical interests are encouraged and actively supported.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time: 4 days per week (8:30am–6:30pm)
  • Protected admin time built into the day
  • No routine late finishes and a culture that supports leaving on time
  • No OOH – external provider covers emergencies
  • 1 in 8 weekends and 1 in 8 Saturdays with time off in lieu

  • Salary from £45,000 to £75,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
