An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. This practice is home to four experienced Vets and five skilled Nurses who work together in a truly collaborative way, ensuring that every member of the team feels valued and supported. Knowledge sharing and mentoring are at the heart of what they do, making this an excellent place for both confident clinicians and those looking to develop their skills further.
Whether you are a less experienced vet eager to grow your surgical confidence or an experienced vet ready for your next challenge, you will find an environment that actively encourages professional development. The practice not only provides generous CPD funding but also offers guidance and support towards certificates in your chosen area of interest. With a varied and interesting caseload, you’ll have the chance to refine your clinical expertise and broaden your experience, all with the reassurance of a knowledgeable, approachable team around you.
You’ll work across three well-equipped branches, each designed with modern veterinary care in mind and staffed by skilled vets and nurses. You\’\’ll have access to fully fitted surgical suites, in-house diagnostic and laboratory capabilities (including haematology, biochemistry and urinalysis), and dedicated nurse clinics for post-operative checks, weight management, behavioural support, and preventive care.
