About the Practice

This RCVS-accredited Tier 3 hospital and training practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:

  • Digital X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy and dental radiography
  • COâ‚‚ laser
  • Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery equipment
  • 64-slice CT scanner
  • 5T MRI scanner

The Role

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced veterinary team and will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high‑quality consultations and case workups
  • Performing routine surgeries including neutering and minor procedures
  • Undertaking sole charge branch work (approximately 50% of the role), with the option for branch‑only work supported by the main hospital

The role provides exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, as well as colleagues currently pursuing further qualifications.

Working Pattern & Flexibility

  • 4‑day working week
  • Weekend rota: 1 in 8 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday) or 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in 8 weeks
  • Occasional out‑of‑hours cover for holiday or sickness
  • Flexible working options are available and can be tailored to suit individual preferences.
