Veterinary Surgeon – Rotherham

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Veterinary Surgeon in the large market town of Rotherham. The practice is based south of the River Dearne, with the RSBP Dearne Valley Old Moore and the Trans Pennine Trail on your doorstep, this is a beautiful location to explore and call home.
Our client is looking for someone who can deliver exceptional care and will play an integral part of the team. You need to be registered with the RCVS and be a qualified MRCVS. You need to have a commitment to animal welfare and have excellent organisational skills.
The job role will include but is not limited to assessing, examining and diagnosing patients’ medical issues, performing surgery, dress and treat wounds, performing diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required, prescribing of medication, promotion of preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations and patient’s euthanasia.
You will be joining a modern practice which offers a variety of in-house services such as ultrasound, x-ray, ECG, in-house laboratory and orthopaedic theatre. You will be part of a kind and caring team who are able to offer a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including nurse clinics and dental procedures, alongside friendly, expert care.
Our client can also offer a relocation allowance should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address. They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
The Rota:
• Full Time role – 4 days per week
• 1:6 weekends
• 40 hours per week

• Salary – up to £60,000 DOE
