Veterinary Surgeon – Bedfordshire Remarkable opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon at an independent small animal practice group in Bedfordshire Highly equipped practice offering up-to-date technology including an ECG, x-ray, ultrasound and much more, with plans to move to new, state-of-the-art premises with even more advanced equipment Work under two accomplished and supportive clinical directors, one being a certificate holder in small animal surgery, who are deeply passionate about development and clinical freedom Fantastic flexible rota; no OOHs whatsoever! Generous benefits package, including excellent salary up to £70,000 DOE Purovets is proud to be working with an independent small animal practice group in Bedfordshire that is highly renowned as one of the best in the area. They are an innovative progressive clinic aiming to work to the highest clinical standards, and they are hoping to move to new state-of-the-art premises in the near future. As well as their current equipment, including an ECG, x-ray and ultrasound, the new premises will have a CT scanner, hydrotherapy treadmill, separate ortho suite and much more. My client is looking for a caring and clinically motivated Veterinary Surgeon with a positive attitude. They are a large, experienced and friendly 14 FTE vet team led by two accomplished and supportive clinical directors, one being a certificate holder in small animal surgery, who are both deeply passionate about development and clinical freedom. Others are training for certificates in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and the practice is proud to offer an advanced range of soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures, as well as advanced diagnostic imaging, to their clients. They offer a clear development pathway for new graduates and they are also an accredited nurse training practice, so you can be sure this team will provide the highest standard of care, 100% of the time. The successful candidate will be a friendly, compassionate, and proactive Veterinary Surgeon who is keen to work in a supportive environment where they will be actively encouraged to grow. You will be happy to work collaboratively in a busy environment whilst taking pride in providing exceptional patient care. The practice is happy to consider Vets with a range of experience levels, and there is a fantastic caseload available for a Vet who is wanting to start a certificate or already working towards one. Their full-time rota is only 35 hours a week for 4 days, with one early 5pm finish every week. You will only work 1 in 7 Saturdays and receive time off in lieu the following week, and there are no OOHs whatsoever! The practice is excellently located just a short walk to the town centre, whilst being only a 30-minute drive to Luton Airport and a 50 minute train into central London.
