The upgraded practice offers exceptional space, workflow efficiency, and advanced technology, allowing the veterinary team to deliver gold-standard clinical care.
Facilities include:
- 5 consultation rooms
- Dedicated cat-only consultation room and waiting area
- 2 operating theatres plus a dental suite
- On-site CT scanning, digital X-ray and advanced imaging
- Radioactive iodine (I-131) treatment for cats
- Separate dog and cat wards
- 6-station preparation room
- Isolation room, sterilisation room, laboratory and laundry

Advanced Diagnostics & Seamless Referral Support
The role benefits from close collaboration with a nearby referral hospital offering CT, MRI and endoscopy. Veterinary Surgeons have the opportunity to follow their own cases through referral, ensuring continuity of care and a seamless clinical experience.
Clinical Autonomy with an Orthopaedic Focus
This position offers a high level of clinical independence, allowing the Veterinary Surgeon to generate and manage their own caseload. The role focuses primarily on orthopaedic surgery, while still maintaining some consulting duties, providing a varied and rewarding clinical workload.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced veterinary team, including certificate holders in:
- Small Animal Surgery
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Ophthalmology

Who This Role Is Perfect For
This opportunity would suit an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Holds a certificate in surgery (or equivalent experience)
- Is confident performing cruciate ligament repair, basic fracture fixation and advanced soft tissue surgery
- Has a strong interest in orthopaedics and complex surgical cases
- Values teamwork, autonomy and clinical excellence
Flexible Rota with Excellent Work-Life Balance
- Full-time position
- 4 or 5-day working week
- Working across two well-equipped sites
- 1:10 weekend rota
- No out-of-hours work
