The Opportunity
An independent small animal veterinary practice is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its growing team across Middlesbrough and Darlington, with a start date around Christmas 2026. The role would suit an experienced RVN who may have previous Head Veterinary Nurse or senior nursing experience, as well as an RVN who is keen to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership skills. The practice is a training practice, meaning the team regularly works with veterinary students and places a strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge. The practice is also genuinely flexible when it comes to working patterns. While the standard rota is four 10-hour shifts per week, alternative arrangements can be considered, including part-time and term-time-only working.
