The Practice

The clinic is bright, spacious, and exceptionally well equipped, offering advanced facilities rarely found in independent practices, including:

  • Orthopaedic surgical theatres
  • Digital and dental radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • IDEXX in-house laboratory
  • Multiparameter monitoring equipment
  • Separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas
  • Premium kennelling for low-stress patient care

The caseload is varied and engaging, including dogs, cats, and a range of small exotics such as rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and tortoises, ensuring no two days are the same.

The Role

This position offers an excellent platform for professional growth and hands-on learning. The successful RVN will work closely with experienced vets and nurses across a broad mix of medical, surgical, and orthopaedic cases.

Duties include:

  • Inpatient care and monitoring
  • Assisting in surgery and anaesthesia
  • Blood sampling and IV catheter placement
  • Nurse consultations
  • Laboratory work
  • Minor procedures (depending on interest and experience)
  • Some involvement in reception and clinical administration
