Fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon at an independent practice located in the bustling city of Glasgow. RCVS accredited practice with up-to-date technology including X-ray room with digital facilities, dental suite with IM3 dental drill and descaler, in-house blood analysers, ECG and much more.

Friendly and experienced team of 3 Vets including 2 Certificate holders (Surgery & Orthopaedics and Medicine). Flexible rota supporting work-life balance. Excellent salary up to £60,000.

Located in the vibrant city of Glasgow, our client—an independent, RCVS-accredited practice—has recently upgraded to a spacious, custom-fitted veterinary surgery, right within the same building. Located at the heart of their community, the practice is easily accessible with major roads, motorways, train, and bus services nearby. Their dedication to excellence is reflected in their RCVS PSS accreditation status.

They are incredibly proud of both their amazing team and the high-quality facilities on offer. Their 3-Vet team, 4 RVNs, 2 ACAs, and 2 Receptionists create a vibrant and supportive environment. Collaboration is key, as they share consultations, dental, medical, and surgical procedures to provide the best care possible.

Work-life balance is essential, and structured days with no long hours ensure you have time for yourself and your loved ones. Consultations are by appointment, and they offer a wide range of clinical treatment options and medicines. In practice, you will experience the joy of being independent. The client can tailor the rota to suit your needs and support your professional growth. Attend CPD courses that interest you, and they will adjust the schedule accordingly. Share your knowledge with the team during case study meetings or anytime you want.

Their modern, up-to-date equipment ensures you have the tools to excel. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced veterinary surgeon who is confident in both consultations and surgery. The Rota:

  • Full time role – 39.5 hours per week on average (4 or 4.5 day week)
  • 15-minute consultations as standard (double appointments given if required)
  • 1:4 Saturdays (9am – 1pm)
