Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced small animal veterinary surgeon, ideally with a surgical bias, to join their thriving RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in Upminster. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, supportive and forward-thinking team within a busy first and second opinion practice offering a varied and rewarding caseload.

What Our Client Offers

  • A genuine four-day working week, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7am and 10pm, helping to promote an excellent work-life balance.
  • The rota structure has been carefully designed to support staff wellbeing and includes:
    • A set day off each week
    • Shared weekend rota of 1 in 4 weekends
    • Additional 1 in 8 Saturday shift at the Brentwood branch
    • Shift overlap to ensure colleagues can hand over effectively and leave on time wherever possible

The hospital is a large and well-equipped RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital with excellent facilities, including:
