Veterinary Nurse – Windsor/Maidenhead

Salary - £30,000–£37,000 FTE DOE

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN to join a friendly, collaborative team and play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll enjoy a varied role across hospitalisation, diagnostics, theatre and medical nursing, with exposure to an interesting caseload including referral work, orthopaedics and dermatology.

The Rota

  • Ideally 4 days per week, with flexibility to discuss alternative working patterns.
  • 1-in-5 Saturday mornings, 8.30am–12pm.
  • Absolutely no OOH, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
  • Start date from December/January onwards.
  • Open to discussing hours and working arrangements to find the right fit.

Career Development

  • Gain exposure to a broad and varied caseload, including referral work.
  • Work alongside experienced clinicians and Advanced Practitioners in orthopaedics and dermatology.
  • Get involved in a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures.
  • Benefit from dedicated facilities including two operating theatres, dental suite with dental X-ray and digital X-ray.
  • Access funded external CPD to support your professional development.

What We’re Looking For

  • An RVN with at least one year of post-qualification experience.
  • A passionate veterinary nurse committed to delivering a high standard of patient care.
  • Someone confident across hospitalisation, monitoring, diagnostics and theatre nursing.
  • A team player who thrives in a friendly, collaborative environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing your clinical skill set.
  • A compassionate, proactive approach with a genuine passion for veterinary nursing.
