Lead a dedicated dentistry team of four dental RVNs. Shape and develop a growing specialist dentistry service. Work with an advanced caseload in a Tier 3 multidisciplinary clinic. 40 hours per week with a 1 in 8 weekend rota and time off the following week. Combining hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, this position offers the chance to influence patient care, mentor colleagues and drive service development within a highly collaborative specialist environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and support a team of four RVNs and one dedicated technician.
  • Coordinate the daily workflow of the dentistry department.
  • Maintain exceptional standards in anaesthesia, theatre nursing and patient care.
  • Oversee the patient journey from admission through to discharge.
  • Support team development through coaching, training and regular feedback.
  • Represent the department at leadership meetings and contribute to hospital projects.
  • Drive service improvements and support the continued growth of the dentistry department.
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care as an active member of the nursing team.
Working Pattern:
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • 1 in 8 weekend rota.
  • Days off in the following week after weekend shifts.
The Practice:

The hospital manages a diverse caseload across cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, and dentistry. You will join a supportive and highly skilled team where collaboration, innovation and continuous learning are embedded into everyday practice.
