The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a recently refurbished small animal practice in South Shields and Boldon. The new facilities allow for an expansive range of clinical care including digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory, dedicated nurse consulting rooms, and laparoscopic surgery.
You’ll be joining a genuinely friendly and supportive team of 4 Vets and 6 RVNs who work collaboratively, support one another, and treat every patient as if they were their own. Since opening in 2004, they have been a core part of the community and would love an RVN to join them.

What we’re looking for:
- An RVN who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for patient care.
- You’ll enjoy building relationships with clients, take pride in delivering a high standard of nursing care, and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in nurse consultations, inpatient care, and surgical support would be advantageous, but above all else we're looking for someone who shares ourvalues, brings a positive attitude, and is committed to making a difference to our patients and their families every day.
The Rota
- Based across their South Shields and Boldon branches on a rotational basis
- 40 hours per week over 4 days between 8:30am and 7:30pm
- Part-time applications considered for the right candidate
- No OOH responsibilities
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 3:00pm)
