Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? We have a fantastic position available at a proudly independent and well-established small animal practice in Renfrewshire, just 30 minutes from Glasgow city centre.
With over 40 years of service, our client has built an excellent reputation and boasts a loyal client base. Their friendly and dedicated team is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients while maintaining a supportive and welcoming working environment.
The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities, including digital radiography, dental x-rays, ultrasound imaging, laser therapy and an IDEXX in-house laboratory. They also offer comprehensive diagnostic services, including biochemistry, haematology, microscopy and urinalysis, alongside access to external laboratories for more specialist testing.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will join a supportive team of 3 full-time vets, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 trainee nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant and 3 experienced receptionists.
This is a predominantly consulting role with very little surgical work, making it ideal for a vet who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and providing continuity of care. There may also be some emergency cases to manage during Saturday shifts.

The Rota:
- Part-time role, approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility around working patterns
- Typical shifts of 8:30am–1:30pm or 1:30pm–6:30pm
- Alternative hours, such as 9:30am–2:30pm, can be accommodated
- 1:2 Saturdays, 8:30am–3:30pm and no OOH work
