The Practice
We are recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a forward-thinking independent veterinary hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse looking to work in a modern, well-equipped small animal practice where nursing skills are fully utilised and career development is encouraged.
This growing independent veterinary practice has recently opened a brand-new Hospital allowing most cases to be treated in-house. Facilities include:
- Two operating theatres
- Dental & imaging suites (DR X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy)
- Separate cat and dog wards
- Hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill & physiotherapy
- Outdoor recovery areas
The Role – Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
You’ll enjoy a varied Veterinary Nurse role, including:
- Inpatient and anaesthesia care
- Nurse-led clinics
- Supporting medical and surgical cases
- Optional involvement in rehabilitation
Professional development and certificates are actively supported.
Hours
4-day working week
Shifts: 7:30am–4:30pm or 11:00am–8:30pm
1-in-3 weekends + one weeknight on-call
Minimal out-of-hours
Salary & Benefits
£28,000–£34,000 per year
6 weeks’ holiday (incl. bank holidays)
