We have a fantastic position available at a proudly independent and well-established small animal practice in Renfrewshire, just 30 minutes from Glasgow city centre. With over 40 years of service, our client has built an excellent reputation and boasts a loyal client base. Their friendly and dedicated team is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients while maintaining a supportive and welcoming working environment. The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities, including digital radiography, dental x-rays, ultrasound imaging, laser therapy and an IDEXX in-house laboratory. They also offer comprehensive diagnostic services, including biochemistry, haematology, microscopy and urinalysis, alongside access to external laboratories for more specialist testing. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will join a supportive team of 3 full-time vets, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 trainee nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant and 3 experienced receptionists. This is a predominantly consulting role with very little surgical work, making it ideal for a vet who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and providing continuity of care. There may also be some emergency cases to manage during Saturday shifts. Our client understands the importance of a healthy work-life balance and is happy to offer flexibility around working hours.
