A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) position is available in a competitive salary environment at a full-time, 24-hour hospital.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy and well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital. This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to a broad caseload, including emergency and critical care, surgical nursing, inpatient management and nurse-led consultations. You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team where every nurse is encouraged to contribute ideas and develop their clinical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in theatre
  • Providing high-quality inpatient and emergency care
  • Running nurse clinics and consultations
  • Managing admissions and discharges
  • Dispensing and checking medications
  • Performing Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
  • Supporting gold-standard patient and client care

This position would suit a motivated RVN who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is keen to continue developing professionally.

Hours & Work Pattern

Full-time, 40 hours per week with a fair share of weekends. Flexible and reduced hours considered for the right candidate.

This modern 24-hour hospital serves as a central hub, offering round-the-clock care and advanced diagnostic and surgical services. Facilities include:

  • Digital X-ray

  • Dedicated inpatient wards

Located in the attractive market town on the edge of the Cotswolds, the practice offers excellent access to Oxford and surrounding areas.
