OOH Vet Surgeon – Greater Manchester

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Greater Manchester. Situated conveniently between Manchester and Liverpool, this busy first-opinion hospital is renowned for its outstanding patient and client care.
As a Night Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing top-tier care to inpatients and handling any emergencies overnight. You will work alongside a dedicated team of nurses and PCAs, with veterinary back-up readily available if required. This role offers flexibility, making it an excellent option for those seeking a dynamic and supportive work environment.
The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, a dental suite, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, therapeutic light laser, and more. Separate wards for cats, dogs, and rabbits ensure the highest standards of patient care. The hospital is proud to hold ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic Gold status and is also a Nurse training centre.
Joining this forward-thinking and friendly team, you will work alongside several certificate holders and RCVS Advanced Practitioners, with career progression strongly encouraged. Many team members are currently undertaking certificates and advanced training, supported by the practice’s commitment to continued professional development.
This is a full time role, working 10 nights per month. 13.5 hour shift working 6.30 pm-8.30 am
