We are recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-equipped veterinary hospital in North London on a night rota. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to develop confidence in emergency, inpatient and critical care nursing within a high clinical standards environment.

The role:

  • Overnight nursing care of hospitalised and emergency patients
  • Monitoring anaesthesia, recovery and critical cases
  • Supporting veterinary surgeons with emergency and referral work
  • Maintaining high standards of patient care, hygiene and record keeping

The practice:

  • Purpose-built veterinary hospital
  • Advanced diagnostics including CT, ultrasound and digital X-ray
  • Multiple surgical theatres and in-house laboratory
  • Separate ICU wards for dogs, cats and infectious patients

About you:

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Confident with inpatient and emergency nursing
  • Calm, organised and able to work independently overnight
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Night or ECC experience is beneficial but not essential.
