A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and supportive team in Margate on a 6-month temporary contract. This role combines high-quality clinical care with meaningful work, providing essential veterinary services to pets belonging to people experiencing financial hardship for more than 100 years.

The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will enjoy a varied role across the hospital, with responsibilities including:

  • Nurse consultations
  • Inpatient care
  • Medication dispensing
  • Assisting in theatre, including Schedule 3 procedures

No two days will be the same, making this an ideal role for an adaptable RVN who enjoys working with a varied caseload and being part of a close-knit veterinary team.

The modern Margate hospital is well equipped with separate dog and cat kennelling, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment. The team is committed to providing excellent patient care while ensuring owners receive compassionate support and clear communication.

The successful candidate will be a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for animal welfare and high standards of patient care. They will be confident working in a busy environment, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting the wider team. Experience with Schedule 3 procedures, theatre nursing or inpatient care would be beneficial.
