An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Deputy Head Nurse to join a thriving veterinary team in Liverpool. This position is ideal for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Nurse in the day-to-day management and leadership of the nursing team.
  • Assist in maintaining high clinical standards, governance, and patient care.

  • Mentor and support colleagues, encouraging professional development and best practice.
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care across consultations, inpatient care, and surgical duties.

Working Hours & Flexibility

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The nursing team typically works a 4-day week, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Shifts are 9 hours long and include a varied mix of consulting, inpatient, and surgical responsibilities throughout the week.

The role includes:

  • 1 in 4 weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Duty nights on a rotational basis
