Salary: £45,000–£65,000 DOE | Full-time or Part-time

Purovets are working with a friendly and well-established RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Leicestershire, who are looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to their supportive and experienced team.

The practice has a team of 11 Veterinary Surgeons and 20+ experienced Veterinary Nurses, creating a collaborative environment with plenty of clinical support.

They are open to speaking with both experienced Veterinary Surgeons and those earlier in their careers, with the role able to be tailored around the successful candidate's experience and interests.

The role

  • Part-time consulting-only positions considered
  • 1 in 8 weekends rota
  • 1 night per week on the OOH rota
  • Varied small animal caseload
  • Excellent opportunities to develop individual clinical interests
  • Support for further qualifications and certificates

The practice

The practice is a purpose-built veterinary hospital with excellent facilities, including 6 operating theatres, multiple consulting rooms, separate cat, dog and exotic wards, an in-house laboratory and digital radiography.

The experienced clinical team includes an Exotics Diplomate and a Surgery Certificate Holder, with a strong focus on clinical development and supporting vets to pursue their own areas of interest.
