The Opportunity
Purovets is proud to be working with a highly regarded veterinary hospital in Central London as they look to recruit a Lead Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced Emergency and Critical Care team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in a fast-paced ECC environment and is looking for a role that offers both clinical challenge and an outstanding work-life balance. You'll be responsible for managing a varied and rewarding emergency caseload, delivering high standards of patient care and supporting clients during critical moments.
The hospital is a modern, purpose-built 24-hour facility equipped to support a broad range of emergency and critical care cases. You'll work alongside a skilled team of veterinary professionals in a collaborative environment where clinical excellence, teamwork and patient welfare are at the forefront of everything they do.

What We're Looking For
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Previous ECC experience or a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care
- Confident working independently and making clinical decisions

The Rota
This role offers an excellent balance between clinical exposure and personal time.
The rota includes:
- 7 nights on, 14 nights off
- Monday to Sunday during your scheduled working week
- 7:00pm – 9:00am shifts
- Weekends and bank holidays only if they fall within your rota week
- No additional daytime commitments
- Extended periods away from practice between rotations
