Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a supportive and welcoming veterinary team in North West London? This is an exciting opportunity for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a charming, well-equipped small animal practice located close to Hampstead Heath, with excellent underground and overground transport links. This friendly and close-knit team is committed to delivering exceptional patient and client care while supporting professional development and career progression.

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, the successful candidate will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments and support the veterinary team with procedures as required. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence at all times. The practice offers a recently renovated single consult room alongside a fully equipped downstairs hospital and prep area, including:

  • Dedicated x-ray room
  • Large prep area
  • Separate dental suite
  • Closed theatre
  • Separate cat and dog wards

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
  • Support consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures
  • Monitor and care for patients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge
  • Provide outstanding client care and communication
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, operational, and regulatory standards
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive veterinary team environment

Working Pattern

Full-time opportunity with 1 in 3 Saturday run shift shared between this practice and a sister practice. Saturdays: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at one practice and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the second practice.
