An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join my client’s friendly and supportive team at a busy first-opinion small animal practice in South East London.

The Role

  • 4-day working week
  • No out-of-hours work
  • Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience

This role would suit an experienced RVN looking to progress into a Senior or Head Nurse position within a thriving GP practice. My client is seeking someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, enjoys clinical coaching, and is keen to support and mentor student nurses.

The successful candidate will work alongside a highly collaborative team of Vets, Nurses, VCAs, and Reception staff within a well-established and well-equipped practice environment. The practice itself offers spacious facilities including large consult rooms, dedicated dog and cat wards, a prep area, and two operating theatres. The clinic also holds a recognised cat-friendly accreditation.

My client’s team sees a varied and interesting caseload, including a strong mix of surgical, orthopaedic, medical, and dermatology cases. The practice is continuously investing in equipment and clinical development, making this an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to further their career within a progressive environment.

The wider veterinary team includes experienced clinicians and certificate holders with interests in surgery, medicine, and dermatology, providing excellent opportunities for ongoing learning and development.

Located in South East London, the practice benefits from excellent transport links via nearby train and bus routes, while still offering a more community-focused feel away from the hustle and bustle of central London.

My client is part of a well-respected independent veterinary group across the South East and offers a welcoming, professional culture alongside an attractive benefits package, including:

  • Salary up to £40,000 DOE
  • 4-day working week
  • No OOH
  • Generous CPD allowance and certificate support
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Wellness programme
  • Company events

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team where career development and high clinical standards are genuinely encouraged.
