This position is ideal for an ambitious RVN looking to develop advanced nursing skills in a hospital setting with a varied and rewarding caseload. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to emergency, critical and referred patients while rotating through surgery, inpatient care, nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures. Working closely with the Lead Nurse and clinical team, you will help maintain outstanding standards of patient care while supporting the ongoing development of the wider nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and critical care patients
- Monitor and manage ICU and hospitalised patients
- Assist with surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Carry out nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics
- Perform Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Support and mentor student nurses and colleagues
- Ensure equipment and resources are effectively managed
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
