The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a well‑established and growing independent equine practice in Lincolnshire. This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least two to three years of equine experience who enjoys the variety of first‑opinion ambulatory work and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

The Practice

Based within easy reach of the historic city of Lincoln, the practice provides equine veterinary services across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The caseload includes:

  • Preventative healthcare
  • Lameness and orthopaedic investigations
  • Medical workups
  • Poor performance investigations
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Stud medicine
  • Routine and emergency ambulatory work

This is a first‑opinion equine position offering a varied mix of ambulatory and clinic‑based work. The successful candidate will:

    What We’re Looking For

    • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
    • Minimum of 2–3 years’ equine clinical experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for providing exceptional patient and client care
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
    • Team‑focused and collaborative approach
    • Full UK driving licence
